A Moveable Feast

I’ve been longing to read Hemingway’s set of memoirs for too long, so when I spotted it in the bookshop earlier today, I instantly grab it and took it home with me. My latte is waiting, wool socks are on, so I’m “off to Paris”  for the next couple of hours! Have a lovely evening everyone!

AT THE END OF THE CIRCLE

“Then the carousel started, and I watched her go round and round…All the kids tried to grap for the gold ring, and so was old Phoebe, and I was sort of afraid she’s fall off the goddam horse, but I didn’t say or do anything. The thing with kids is, if they want to grab for the gold ring, you have to let them do it, and not say anything. If they fall off, they fall off, but it is bad to say anything to them.”

sleep paralysis?

I just experienced sleep paralysis! I’m quite sure this is not the first time it’s happening, however the feeling was extremely intense today and I was able to perceive it at its maximum. More on this after I’ll get the chance to do a little more research. If anyone reading this had episodes of sleep paralysis, please feel free to leave a comment and share your experience.

Sleep tight everyone!

remember venice?

“Venise à la qualité de disparaître en un instant,de ne pas courir derrière le train avec des clins d’œil à gauche et à droite comme le font d’autres villes, mais de sombrer aussitôt, comme si elle n’existait pas, comme si elle n’avait jamais existé.”  ( Nina Berberova,  Le Roseau révolté )
